If you don't like your crooked teeth and would like them straightened give some thought to the new brace treatments that are available. What is important to consider is that we usually associate crooked teeth with our front teeth, but it is equally important to consider your back teeth aswell.
If your upper and lower dental arches are too narrow, your teeth can emerge into your mouth without enough space to be in a straight line. The ideal position for your teeth allows for effective chewing with all the teeth working in harmony. But if a tooth is out of line, then this can interfere with chewing. Often this leads to teeth being prematurely worn down as the bite seeks to rebalance itself. Sometimes however teeth need to be moved to help the chewing function better. There are several ways to improve your bite but the two most common are to adjust your tooth biting surfaces so they balance out, or to move your teeth or widen your jaws using braces. Braces such as Invisalign are a clear brace alternative but can take longer than wire braces. However, these wires can now be fitted to the back of your teeth so noone can know that you are wearing them.
Best wishes
