Denture Implants in Surrey

How to Remake a Smile.

A gentleman came to see me as he wanted to look his best for his son's wedding. He had no teeth and felt that the wedding photos would be improved if he did. We decided on implants and ceramic bridges fitted to them. We could have also made an acrylic denture bridge but the decision was to go for the ceramic bridges.

My long time colleague Carl Manhem placed the implants in his upper and lower jaw. This may look like an uncomfortable treatment, but actually most patients are surprised by how simple it is.

I must point out that the implants do not poke out your your gums as much as this. The implant itself finishes at your gum level. The metal location rods are to help the dental technician match the exact position of the implants for the ceramic bridge. The bridges is then made in the dental laboratory.

The natural looking ceramic bridges are fitted ontop of the implants and the occlusion ( the bite and how comfortable it is) is checked and adjusted.

One happy father for this son's wedding.
